Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 5, 2026.

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of getgroundpatrol.com and any services provided by Ground Patrol. By accessing our website, requesting or approving a quote, scheduling service, submitting payment, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Services

Ground Patrol provides residential pet waste removal and related yard-cleanup services in Mission, McAllen, Edinburg, and surrounding service areas.

The specific services, frequency, price, and any applicable promotional terms will be described in your quote, service agreement, or invoice. Service is limited to the areas of the property identified by the customer and accepted by Ground Patrol.

Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer, including:

  • Number of dogs
  • Yard size and condition
  • Service frequency
  • Length of time since the yard was last cleaned
  • Accessibility and any special service requirements

Ground Patrol may adjust the quoted price if the property’s actual conditions differ materially from the information provided. We will notify you of any price adjustment before performing work beyond the originally approved service.

Prices may change from time to time. Customers will be notified before a new price applies to future service.

Recurring Service and Payment

Recurring service is billed monthly in advance. Payment for the upcoming month is due no later than the last day of the current month.

For example, payment for September service is due by August 31.

Service may be paused or delayed when payment has not been received by the due date. The customer remains responsible for any completed services and other approved charges.

If automatic payments are authorized, the customer authorizes Ground Patrol and its payment processor to charge the payment method on file for recurring service and other approved charges. Customers are responsible for maintaining current and accurate billing information.

Scheduling

Recurring appointments are scheduled according to Ground Patrol’s established service routes. We will make reasonable efforts to provide service on the anticipated day, but arrival times are not guaranteed.

Service dates may change because of weather, holidays, route adjustments, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. When practical, customers will be notified of significant schedule changes.

Property Access

Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the service area on each scheduled service date. This includes:

  • Unlocking gates or providing accurate access instructions
  • Keeping the service area reasonably accessible
  • Disclosing known hazards
  • Keeping aggressive or unsafe animals secured
  • Ensuring that locks, gates, fences, and access equipment are in working condition

Gate codes and access instructions will be used only as needed to provide service.

If we cannot access the property or safely complete the visit, the appointment may be treated as a completed or missed visit and may not qualify for a refund or account credit.

Pets and Yard Safety

All pets must be kept indoors or removed from the service area before Ground Patrol arrives. Pets may not roam freely in the yard while service is being performed. If a pet must remain outside, it must be securely leashed and kept under the direct control of an adult at all times.

Ground Patrol may refuse or stop service if a pet is loose or if conditions are unsafe. The visit may be treated as a missed service.

Gates and Property Security

We will make a reasonable effort to close and secure each gate after service. Customers are responsible for maintaining functioning gates, hinges, locks, latches, and fences.

Ground Patrol is not responsible for a pet escaping because of a pre-existing defect, damaged fence, malfunctioning latch, inaccurate access instructions, or another condition outside our control.

Customers should inspect and maintain their gates and fencing regularly.

Waste and Yard Conditions

Ground Patrol removes visible pet waste from accessible service areas. We cannot guarantee the removal of waste that is hidden beneath tall grass, leaves, debris, standing water, landscaping, equipment, toys, or other obstructions.

The customer is responsible for keeping the grass and service area reasonably maintained and accessible. Excessive accumulation, unusually large yards, overgrown areas, or conditions requiring additional labor may result in an additional charge.

Ground Patrol does not provide landscaping, mowing, hazardous-waste removal, animal-control services, or removal of waste from animals other than those included in the approved service unless agreed to separately.

Weather and Service Interruptions

Service may be delayed or rescheduled because of severe weather, flooding, lightning, extreme heat, unsafe ground conditions, or other conditions that prevent safe or effective service.

When a visit is delayed, Ground Patrol may reschedule it, adjust the route, or combine the cleanup with the next scheduled visit. Weather-related schedule changes do not automatically qualify for a refund.

Cancellations, Pauses, and Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice when requesting a cancellation, pause, or schedule change.

Requests received with less than 48 hours’ notice may not qualify for a refund or account credit, particularly when the appointment has already been routed or a technician has traveled to the property.

Recurring service may be canceled at any time before the next billing period. Cancellation does not remove responsibility for services already completed, scheduled charges already incurred, or unpaid account balances.

Promotions

Promotional offers are subject to the terms displayed with the offer.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions:

  • Are available only to qualifying new customers
  • Have no cash value
  • Cannot be combined with another offer
  • Do not apply to one-time cleanups
  • May require enrollment in recurring service
  • May be modified or discontinued before acceptance

Any payment required when starting service will be disclosed before the customer approves the quote.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to be satisfied with your service. If you believe an accessible area was missed, contact Ground Patrol within 24 hours of the completed visit.

When appropriate, we will return to address the reported area at no additional charge. The satisfaction guarantee does not apply to waste hidden by tall grass, leaves, debris, standing water, inaccessible areas, or waste deposited after the service was completed.

The satisfaction guarantee provides corrective service and does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Customer Communications

By providing your phone number or email address, you agree to receive communications related to your quote, appointments, invoices, payments, account, and service updates.

Marketing communications will be sent only as permitted by applicable law. You may opt out of promotional messages, but you may still receive communications necessary to administer your account or provide service.

Photos and Service Records

Ground Patrol may take photographs of gates, access points, yard conditions, hazards, or completed work for service verification, quality control, documentation, and dispute resolution.

We will not intentionally publish photographs that identify the customer or property for advertising purposes without permission.

Damage and Liability

Ground Patrol will use reasonable care while providing service. However, Ground Patrol is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by:

  • Pre-existing property conditions
  • Undisclosed or hidden hazards
  • Defective gates, locks, fences, landscaping, or equipment
  • Animals or animal behavior
  • Weather or natural events
  • Inaccurate information or instructions provided by the customer
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ground Patrol’s total liability arising from a particular service will not exceed the amount the customer paid for that service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to hold Ground Patrol harmless from claims, losses, or expenses arising from undisclosed hazards, unsafe animals, defective property conditions, inaccurate access instructions, or the customer’s violation of these terms.

Refusal or Termination of Service

Ground Patrol may refuse, suspend, or terminate service because of:

  • Unsafe or hazardous conditions
  • Aggressive animals
  • Repeated access problems
  • Harassment or abusive conduct
  • Nonpayment
  • Misuse of promotions
  • Materially inaccurate customer information
  • Violations of these terms

The customer remains responsible for services completed before suspension or termination.

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to damage, disable, or disrupt the website
  • Introduce viruses or other harmful material
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or misuse website content
  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
  • Use the website to interfere with Ground Patrol or its customers

We may restrict or terminate website access when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.

Our website and business operations may use third-party platforms for scheduling, quoting, payments, communications, maps, or other services.

Ground Patrol is not responsible for the independent policies, availability, security, or performance of third-party providers. Your use of those services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. Please review that policy before submitting personal information through the website.

Changes to These Terms

Ground Patrol may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Changes will apply to website use and services occurring after the revised terms become effective. When required or appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.

No Waiver

A failure by Ground Patrol to enforce any provision of these terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

Governing Law and Venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by law, any legal action relating to these terms or Ground Patrol’s services must be brought in a court of appropriate jurisdiction located in Hidalgo County, Texas.
